The Roman Empire is making a comeback in Britain with the help of the national tourist boards. Nine Roman Heritage Trails, linking sites and cities throughout England, Scotland and Wales have been devised under the common symbol of the head of the Emperor Hadrian, taken from an authentic coin of the time. The trails cover everything from a fort at Ardoch in Scotland to a villa at Brading on the Isle of Wight; fron an amphitheatre at Carmarthen to a lighthouse at Dover, to a natural hot spring water of the Roman Bath, at Bath. PHOTO SHOWS: - Some of the tourists seen bathing in the Roman Bath at Bath yesterday, watched by Roman Soldiers and serving girls. The "Soldiers are members of the Erain Street Guard" a group which wear Roman Uniforms which are perfect in every detail, all through the tourist season, and you visit this place when you take the Roman Cotswold Trail……
