One of the world’s former Ballerinas, Dame Margot Fonteyn, led a protest by Britain’s leading ballerinas to the Russian Embassy in London today in a bid to get enfold Nureyev’s family permission to visit the west. It is the latest move in the long campaign by Nureyev to be re-united with his mother, sister. PHOTO SHOWS:- DAME MARGOT FONTEYN outside the Russian Embassy in London today with some of the other ballet dancers with the petition with 107,000 signatures which was handed into the Embassy.
