This latest portrait of the Queen by Cecil Beaton shows Her Majesty wearing a boat cloak. The portrait was first shown in the National Portrait Gallery Exhibition "Beaton Portraits 1928-1968M which opened on Nov 1st 1968; it is the first such exhibition ever to be devoted to the work of a camera artist.
