C.I.D - personnel are investigating the double murder at the “Home for Elderly Genrlefolk” In Montpelier Road, Ealing - of a lady who Is generally known as "LADY MENZIES" - and her daughter MRS. ISOBEL VERONICA CHESNEY.. Their bodies were found in different parts of the house... Lady Menzies since she was found In front of a fire in the downstairs sitting room - and Mrs, Chesney was found -half-clad in the bathroom of the top floor.. Mrs. Menzies has used the title "Lady Menzies" since she was married In 1930 to THOMAS CHALMERS MENZIES - who styled himself as “the tenth baronet'” but it was announced soon after the - wedding that he was not entered in the official Roll of the Baronetage..
