SHEKHAR MEHTA of Kenya with co-driver LOFTY DREW’S driving a Datsun 240Z won the 21st East African Motors Rally in a very close finish with Swedish driver HARRY KALLSTROM also driving a Datsun. PHOTO SHOWS: A constant hazard during the safari is the wild animals-and hare we see a Zebra racing away from a Peugeot 504 driven by HUGH LIONNET and PHILIP HECHLS during the rally.
