MR. WINSTON CHURCHILL in the uniform of Air Commodore spent the day at Biggin Hill aerodrome, Kent - during which he watched a flying display by meteor Fighter Pilots - in which three pilots were killed - when aircraft collided in mid-air. Mr. Churchill was paying a visit to the 615 (County of Surrey) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Sir Force, of which he is Air Commodore. KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS: - A typical “Chuischillian” expression on the face of WINSTON CHURCHILL as he watched the flying display from the roof of the control tower at Biggin Hill today.
